Congratulations and a huge welcome to the first group of benugo apprentice chefs. On the 1st February 2012 we launched the benugo apprentice chef training programme. Starting with eight enthusiastic, talented trainees from six of our kitchens - the six-month course is designed to take unqualified but passionate novice chefs and equip them with the knowledge and skills to gain an NVQ qualification. The programme will run every six months producing benugo commis chefs with a better understanding of, and ability to create, great fresh food. This is just the beginning of our in-house chef training with more NVQ courses planned for the future.
