King’s Cross Food Truck
02 June 2015
Our beautifully restored, classic 1972 Citroen H-Van sits on King's Cross' Granary Square and has been fully kitted-out to run as a coffee-shop on wheels.
Perfect whether you are in a hurry or ready to take a break on a late summer day, our Espresso truck also carries a selection of bloomers, wraps and seasonal salads as well as cakes and muffins from our Benugo Bakery.
Granary Square is right at the heart of London, beside Regent’s Canal and is beautifully landscaped. The landmark fountains have 1,080 water jets (we counted them!), all individually lit and choreographed for displays. Kids love splashing around in the jets.
The grassy steps are a small city oasis, perfect for a chill beside the canal with a coffee. And there’s always something to watch, usually quirky. You can catch this year’s sci-fi film festival on the floating cinema, from Thursday 17th September to Sunday 20th September.
One of the many King’s Cross regular attractions that has caught our eye is the chance for kids aged 10-14 to train with real Arsenal FC players! It’s on every Friday evening at the Sports Pitch and for more details, visit the website address linked to below or contact Rachel.
If football for the kids is not your thing, don’t worry. There’s always something going on in Granary Square – just look out for the big old Citroen Van.
