Clangers, Bagpuss & Co. at Museum of Childhood

Clangers, Bagpuss & Co comes to the Museum of Childhood until 9 October 2016. Meet Bagpuss, see the Soup Dragon and ogle Noggin the Nog. This free exhibition celebrates the works of Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin. Oliver Postgate's voice and Peter Firmin's puppets shaped the childhood memories of millions since they started collaborating in the 1950's. They inspired the creativity of so many and this is obvious through this brilliantly curated exhibition.

Enter the world of Smallfilms to discover original puppets, sets and filming equipment. See how characters developed and learn how Oliver and Peter developed their stop-frame animation techniques.  Visitors can read scripts from Clangers episodes and also see some of their other creations such as Ivor the Engine.
