Natural History Museum Ice Rink
18 October 2016
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in South Kensington.
The most wonderful time of the year returns with the much-anticipated opening of the IMG Ice Rink at the Natural History Museum on October 27, 2016.
Join us for the quintessential holiday experience as you take to the ice under a 40 foot high Christmas tree adorned with 1500 glittering Swarovski crystals. Lace up your skates and glide across the 1000 square metre ice rink, or let your little one take their first spin on a separate mini rink built just for children.
Feel as though you just stepped off the slopes in the chalet-style Café Bar. Skaters and non-skaters can sip on mulled wine and hot cocoa or choose from a variety of boutique beers and bubbles. Carry on the après-ski vibe as you munch on hot dogs, Wiener schnitzel and fries or host the perfect winter party with bowl food and charcuterie to share. Keep your miniature skaters happy with hot dogs and mini-muffins or white hot chocolate topped with gooey marshmallows for a special holiday treat.
Reserve the main rink and children’s rink for bespoke events or holiday parties and celebrate the season in enchanting surroundings. Contact our events team to reserve a space.
