Oxford Street's Christmas Lights On

We are so excited to have a location on Oxford Street! We’re feeling very festive this year especially as the Benugo Café at John Lewis is at the same level as the Christmas lights themselves! This year, the Oxford Street light switch on is taking place on the 1st November. There are 1778 snowball like orbs lighting up using 750,000 LED light bulbs. It may be our first year here but this is Oxford Street’s fifty-sixth year of being decorated for the festive season. This year there will be an additional 445 new golden baubles added to the beautiful display!

The road will be closed to traffic between 2-6.30pm and we will be sampling our delicious mince pie slices outside the John Lewis department store. John Lewis will have a snow machine and lots of activities at Toys for Children. There will also be a stage outside the Pandora Marble Arch store that will host live musical performances and celebrity presenters – no word yet on who will be doing the honours this year, but Jessie J, Robbie Williams and the Spice Girls have all had the privilege before.
