It may not be one of London’s best-known museums. But it is certainly one of the most magical.
For children, or the forever young, the V&A’s gorgeous Museum of Childhood has so much to offer, from thousands of toys, dolls, puppets, teddy bears and games to intriguing childhood artefacts dating back hundreds of years.
Spend a few hours of delight with the collections and then round-off your visit by dropping into our Benugo Café. Or, ask us about hosting a children’s party in a unique and playful space. You can enjoy a delicious family lunch, freshly-made sandwiches, salads and hot dishes, as well as teas, coffees and juices. It’s the perfect spot for excited, hungry kids and for parents and adults in need of revival.
The entire menu is available in child-friendly half-portions, while our kids’ fridge is well stocked with drinks, fruit and healthy filled rolls. Great if you are on the go.
For the adults, our Benugo blend coffee is also available to take-away from the café.
There are Fun Fridays every week, with special events ranging from puppet shows to Make-And-Do workshops along with daily events that include painting and crafts, guided tours, trails and storytelling. The permanent collections and exhibitions will delight and amaze grownups and kids alike. But the real fun of the Museum of Childhood are the almost daily special events. Kids will love getting involved.
