is in the green heart of London, grand old Hyde Park. First laid out in 1536 as a pleasure garden for King Henry VIII, today it is enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
At the centre of this glorious park, you will find our Serpentine Bar & Kitchen, with an outdoor terrace that looks out over famous Serpentine Lake and. You won’t find a better spot to enjoy an al fresco meal or drink with plenty of tables and chairs, inviting shade under our wide canopy and a fantastic views out over the lake.
It’s a gorgeous spot for a meal with friends, family or just by yourself on a lazy afternoon or in the golden hour before sundown. Try pizzas made to order from our wood-fired oven, British classics like fish and chips or fresh, seasonal salads that are as green and inviting as your surroundings.
In the summer, we celebrate the sunny days with pop-up BBQs and our Gin Bar serves up jugs of Pimm’s, draft beers and zesty cocktails, mixed especially to cool you down and pick you up. We also serve ice-cream!
If you fancy a picnic, stop by the smaller counter at the main entrance, where we do takeaway sandwiches, fresh smoothies, cakes and coffees. You’ll be in, looked after and out lazing on the lawn in minutes.
We love the Serpentine on a sunny afternoon. It is timeless, quintessential London.
Please note that our toilets are closed for refurbishment. There are temporary toilets available just outside our main entrance. Apologies for any inconvenience.
