Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal has officially opened The Queen Elizabeth II Garden in the Regent’s Park.
Marking what would have been Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday, this remarkable new two-acre garden stands as a living tribute to her extraordinary life, service, and enduring legacy. Designed as a climate-resilient space, it reflects both remembrance and renewal, offering a place of reflection within one of London’s most iconic royal parks.
Created by The Royal Parks in collaboration with HTA Design, the garden has been carefully shaped to honour the past while looking firmly to the future. Its planting, layout, and environmental focus celebrate biodiversity and sustainability, ensuring the space will continue to evolve and inspire generations to come.
Set within the heart of the park, the opening brought together guests to mark this significant national moment. The garden itself serves not only as a memorial, but as a working landscape that encourages connection with nature and highlights the importance of climate resilience in urban green spaces.
It was a true honour for Events by Benugo to play a small part in such a meaningful occasion, catering the opening reception. Our team was privileged to support a celebration of this scale and significance, contributing to a moment that blends history, legacy, and forward-looking design.
