Abbey in Bloom Afternoon Tea, Westminster Abbey
Celebrate the beauty of the season with the Abbey in Bloom Afternoon Tea at Westminster Abbey. Served in the historic Cellarium Café & Terrace, the menu features a selection of savouries including cucumber with feta cream and tomato tapenade, truffle free-range egg mayonnaise, hot-smoked trout vol-au-vent and pea and red onion tart, followed by handcrafted sweet treats, homemade scones and unlimited tea and coffee.
Abbey in Bloom Afternoon Tea is priced at £39 per person, with the option to add a glass of Chapel Down Classic Brut for £11. For a lighter treat, guests can enjoy a traditional Cream Tea for £10.
Afternoon Tea at the Science Museum London
Discover a brand-new afternoon tea experience at the Science Museum London Gallery Café. Created by Benugo, this unique experience combines a traditional afternoon tea featuring freshly prepared sandwiches, sweet treats and baked scones with the inspiring surroundings of one of London’s most visited museums.
For an extra dose of discovery, guests can enhance their visit with interactive science activities, including the Liquid Lava Layersexperiment and the Alien Activity Package, designed to spark curiosity through hands-on learning and fun. Available Thursday to Sunday, it’s the perfect family-friendly afternoon tea for curious minds of all ages.
Traditional Afternoon Tea, The Savill Garden Kitchen
Nestled within Windsor Great Park, The Savill Garden Kitchen offers a beautiful setting for afternoon tea overlooking the gardens. Guests can enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and seasonal cakes, including The Savill Garden Flower Pot, apricot and pistachio torte, raspberry cheesecake and summer berry Eton Mess cake.
Traditional Afternoon Tea is £29.50 per person, with the option to add a glass of Hundred Hills Preamble No.2 sparkling wine for £12. A vegan afternoon tea is also available.
Cutty Sark Afternoon Tea, Royal Museums Greenwich
Enjoy one of London’s most unique afternoon tea experiences beneath the iconic hull of the Cutty Sark. Inspired by the ship’s maritime heritage, the menu features savoury classics alongside creative sweet treats including Jamaican gingerbread finger cake, Earl Grey and pumpkin cake, whale tail cookies and freshly baked tea-infused scones.
Admission to the ship is included with every booking.
Adult tickets are £47, students £41.50 and children £36.
Great Court Restaurant Afternoon Tea, British Museum
Enjoy afternoon tea beneath the spectacular glass roof of the British Museum’s Great Court. The menu includes classic finger sandwiches, Earl Grey tea-soaked raisin scones with clotted cream and jam, and a selection of cakes including apricot Bakewell tart, lemon drizzle loaf and Guinness red velvet cake.
Afternoon Tea is £43 per person, or £55 per person with Moët & Chandon Champagne.
In Bloom Afternoon Tea, Ashmolean Museum
Inspired by the exhibition In Bloom: How Plants Changed Our World, this seasonal afternoon tea celebrates the stories, beauty and influence of plants through flavour. Guests can enjoy a selection of sandwiches, lavender and orange blossom scones, and floral-inspired sweet treats including a chocolate flowerpot, raspberry and Prosecco posset, and lemon and almond macaron.
In Bloom Afternoon Tea is priced at £32.50 per person, with the option to add a glass of 2019 Preamble No.2 Hundred Hills Sparkling Wine for £14. A vegan afternoon tea and cream tea option are also available.
V&A Classic Cream Tea
For a lighter afternoon treat, visit the V&A and enjoy a classic cream tea. Featuring a freshly baked rooibos tea-soaked raisin and orange scone, Cornish clotted cream, Tiptree strawberry jam and a selection of petits fours, it’s the perfect addition to a day at the museum.
£13 per person, served daily from 2pm to 4pm in the V&A Café.
Afternoon Tea at Bletchley Park
Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in the iconic Bletchley Park Mansion, once frequented by the famous World War Two codebreakers. Served on vintage china, the experience includes finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, homemade cakes and unlimited tea and coffee.
Prices start from £35 for Annual Pass holders or £63.75 including admission to Bletchley Park.
Afternoon Tea at Edinburgh Castle
Enjoy a memorable afternoon tea experience in the heart of Edinburgh Castle. Served within the castle grounds, guests can relax with a selection of sweet and savoury treats while taking in one of Scotland’s most iconic destinations. All afternoon tea packages include admission to the castle.
