Coffee isn’t just about the beans to us, it’s about where they come from and who picks the berries; it’s about bringing you the best coffee with traceable fairness from field to cup.
We purchase our coffee direct to ensure that our farmers are getting a fair price for the beans they care for tirelessly and rely on for their livelihoods. The majority of our beans are purchased from Jose Bernardo and his two brothers who run Pedra Redonda, a coffee farm in the foothills of Pico de Desengano, Brazil.
Our bespoke Benugo blend is 90% Arabica and 10% Robusta. This gives a mild, smooth taste with a touch of fruit and balanced with a chocolate profile.
Because we’re always trying to improve the quality of our product and strive to work more responsibly at every step, we’ve moved to move to use a fully certified Rainforest Alliance bean as of the end of 2017.
